Well I've been getting this since I was very little. And its not along my hairline (in response to the ponytail advice), it is completely parallel to the ground. It is also not all over my head, but it is just a millimeter tall, with a circumference around my head. It is not painful at all, simply a small feeling of restriction, as if I had a rubber band around my head.

And also, I am eighteen and have never had migraines. And actually I haven't felt the "halo restriction" for a few months now. It comes randomly a few times a year. Strange... I know. I'm definately going to ask my doctor next time I go!

It could be a tension headache-- try doing a scalp massage and drinking some water
