2004 Caymus Special Selection Cabernet
The bouquet boasts black currants, brown spices, blackberries and dark roast coffee beans. An excellent berry wine, it is very expansive on palette. The finish is quite long and fruit dominated.
Caymus is Napa Valley Cabernet. Napa is known for being one of the best regions in California for wine. The grapes for this specific Cab are specially selected hence the name "Special Selection". Caymus puts to shame the similarly priced "top" French Bordeaux's. It's a great gift and a great way to support American Wines!

beaulieu vineyards in napa makes some exceptional cabernet. Try their George De Latour Private Reserve approximately $95, Tapestry approximately $50.
Silverado Solo is also great for $75 or the Silverado Limited Reserve Cab for $100.
One thing to keep in mind is that price does not guarantee a wine will be good. I have worked in the napa/sonoma wine industry for 9 years and have my fair share of horrendous wines over $50. Price does not guarantee quality.

How about 20 bottles of something really cheap. A true wine drinker would apreciate that.
