Whereas we know Harry Potter books are works of fiction, the Bible is a highly debated subject.

The bible has foretold many things that happened. The bible maintains a common theme throughout the entire book. The bible writers claim over and over again that they were inspired by God to write what they did.

To me there is plenty of evidence to support the Bible being the living Word of God. Thereby, in part, proving God's existence. However, there is more than just the Bible to do that.

Well take into consideration all the archeological evidence that proves the Bible is legit. The recent discovery of the Tower of babel, recent records showing that Pontius Pilate really existed, and on and on and on. This leads me to believe that the Bible is at least a historically accurate source of information.

The Harry Potter books are in the fiction section.

You can relate the two as you choose, but, gods and wizards have reality, regardless of whether the bible or Harry Potter books exist or not.

God exists and so do wizards and witches.

The bible is our manual on how to live life accordingly in God's guidance. The fulfilled prophecies in the bible for one, proves its reliabilty that this book's writers where inspired of a being far superior than man.

As for Harry Potter, it is a book that takes away our time from reading the bible instead. The author could also be inspired, as bad as it may seem to say...the topics in the book are all disgusting in God's eyes:

Deuteronomy 18:10 There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, 11 or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you.

No.... the bible is not proof of God's existence..... The bible is proof that God inspired men to write His words........

It took Him 40 days to write 10 commandments on a tablet while Moses aged in that time....

just shows how limited amount of time we have to wait to understand God......

through fact people use diverse arguments in the event that they sense it helps their attitude, to illustrate if i presumed Harry Potter replaced into real (i do no longer) i might say the e book replaced into info for his existance. additionally the bible is amazingly previous, and unlike Harry Potter, its author isn't vulnerable to seem on television.

You're comparing the Bible to some books written by a woman who stole her children out of France so that they would not have a relationship with their father. Then, she leaves them alone for hours in their apartment, while she goes down a coffee shop to sip coffee and write. She was just one minor accident from being a footnote on a police blotter.
