effects is the noun you seek. That aside, I hope not as I like getting my prezzies. Merry Chrimbo.

Santa Claus a.k.a. St. Nicholas died 1700 years ago. He was a Greek bishop in Asia Minor in the Eastern Roman Empire. When he became bishop, he anonymously gave some of his inheritance from his late wealthy parents to the poor. One instance was that a man couldn’t afford a dowry to get his 3 daughters married and thought they more likely will become prostitutes. Thus Saint Nicholas dropped 3 bags of gold down the father’s chimney so they wouldn’t become prostitutes. This is what I learned from Catholic school.

Not at all. Santa has an excellent AC system and to go along with it he has Satellite Radio with surround sound.

Santa is magic. He can do anything and get anywhere he wants to!
Who would make him redundant anyway?

Well as the Rolf Harris song says...
Six white boomers, six white boomers,
Racing Father Christmas through the blazing sun,
Six white boomers, snow white boomers,
On his Australian run.
A boomer is a big male kangaroo (if I understand it correctly) so perhaps he'll start using kangaroos here too if it gets warm enough.

Hey, let's not forget that there are many places that have barbeques for Christmas because they're technically in the summer season during Christmas.
