I'm currently pregnant so I have to sleep on my side with a body pillow between my legs and one leg bent. If I sleep on my back I can't breathe and I obviously can't sleep on my tummy! Oh and I have to have a fan going (yes, even in the winter!)

Before I was pregnant I always slept on my tummy with my arms under my pillow and one leg bent. I can't wait to be able to sleep on my belly again! :)

Me too. I sleep on my side (both sides) a lot (I sometimes like to have a pillow between my legs 'cause it helps keep your back in alignment) and sometimes on my back. I don't know how people can sleep on their bellies because it makes me feel like I can't breathe.

I think I've given myself shoulder problems from sleeping on my side. I wake up pretty much every morning with seriously stiff shoulders and I can sometimes like pop parts of the joint, but I'm not sure how to fix it 'cause I love sleeping on my side. If I saw a joint doctor about it, s/he would yell at me.

Anyway, I love being able to sleep with all the windows open in the summer.

P.S. To pregnant and due respondent: I love the name Vincent. :o) Good luck.

I have to lie on my back............. but if you're talking about sleeping positions, we aren't like that for as long as we sleep....there are at least 12 positions a man makes when he sleeps through the night

I sleep on a tempur-pedic pillow!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i sleep best on my left side, it's the best for your heart.
the heart does less work and less stress when sleeping on left side.
i like lots of blankets, soft ones, a down comforter, my cocker spaniel between me and hubby.
and when it's too warm.......i too kick my foot out the side of the bed! lol
I read that meant if you slept with your foot out from under the covers that you were ready to jump out of bed at the onset of fear! or that you were not truly comfortable sleeping with the person you were in bed with, or ready for more action! funny, i read that in the 1980's. something about being nervous? and ready for adventure, couldn't quit relax fully. does that apply?

sure.
I can only sleep on the side, with 2 pillows - one (firm) under my head, and another under my arm and shoulder.
and I must be covered with a blanket, even when it's warm.

LOL! I sleep like I am on a rotisserie! Back, side, stomach, other side. I wonder if that is weird? My husband doesn't care and it doesn't bother him.

Good luck Vincent's! May your baby be healthy and happy!

Face down in a feather pillow. No matter how I fall asleep, that's how I wake up.
