You should feel the products; a frying pan for example, should be well balanced, not to heavy and easy to toss around. Teflon isn’t the best material to go for. There are much better materials like Silverstone, the price will tell you allot, more is more, so to speak, if it is expensive it’s probably high quality.

Pots should be heavy and steady, so that they won’t tip over. It’s a good thing if they are resistant to heat and cold.

You will get it wrong !!
It won't be the first time. It will happen with increasing frequency after marriage.

Back to the cookware. She will probably be the primary user. If you get it wrong, this will act as a daily thorn pricking at her most sensitive area, multiple times a day.

Be SAFE, ask her what she considers good cookware in an indirect manner. Brand name ? Teflon ? Stainless Steel ?

Walk carefully over this first landmine.
