Hey Karen,
There could be many factors causing this sudden change in the complexion of your face. I noticed many answers suggesting cleansers. But how about the possibility of cleansing on the inside of our body where secretions are blocked by toxins.
From kidneys and liver to glands that are polluted can cause blockages that do not allow the skin to purge impurities out of you. In addition to this, there can be change of environment that has occured in your life; such as birth control pills, moved to another home, high stress with job or family? Many things to consider...
There are a few things we all can do that will improve our life and our bodies. So for the good news...
Start by excercising. Excercise flushes out salts and fats from our bodies thru our skin. Its called perspiration girl. So work it out.
Number 2. To be able to work out hard you need to have energy.
So you should eat energy rich foods that are pure not processed or out of a can. Foods that supply plenty of B vitamins. Try sweet potatoes, broccoli , carrots, almonds, beans, etc. etc. you get the picture. Good organic vegetables and fruits. Stay away from too many fast foods, dairy products, high sodium and sugar meats and carbonated soft drinks...Not fun but you could look like a supermodel again soon!
And finally, take care of that skin there are many products to open pores and cleanse the face. My favorite endorsement is ProActiv advertised on TV by Jessica Simpson.
Well, hope that helps and good living to you my dear.
It works for me. Oh yeah one more thing, I almost forgot. Drink water. Lots of it. When in doubt drink some water. Hey, you spend $$$ for body crippling sodas why not spend that for life giving water. AND oh yeah, you know what is free? OXYGEN>
wow they do not charge for that substance that cleans and feeds your whole being do they? So take a deep breath and let the blood flow into your heart, mind, and soul... relax and let your worries go. IT WILL WORK trust me...I should know. Thanks for the question and let's see a pretty face posted next time I visit the place again.

Pimples are usually caused by the overactivity of the sebaceous glands that secrete oily substances onto the skin. It has something to do with hormones, testosterone to be more specific and can be found in both male and female.
Testosterone triggers the sebaceous glands to produce an excess of sebum. At the same time, the dead skin cells lining the openings of the hair follicles (the tubes that hold the hair) are not shed properly and clog up the follicles.
The build-up of oil in the hair follicles creates an ideal environment for a bacterium called Propionibacterium to grow. effect? pimples.
to prevent them, follow these simple steps:
1.Wash your face with a mild facial scrub as one or two times a day
note: Don't wash your face more than 3 times a day. It will cause you face to go dry.
2. Try to keep your hair out of your face as
much as possible.
3. Use a mild facial toner.
You can buy a product with Zeroil which is a good oil controlling agent and papaya extract, any whitening content to prevent dark spots or Hydrogen Peroxide 3% solution. Remember, dont rub, just pat.
4. Take supplementary in-takes such as Vitamin E, or GrapeSeed Extract. (antioxidants)
5. If you notice greasiness on the surface of your face, you can use a piece of clean plain paper to remove the oil.
6. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water each day.
7. Put ice on your pimples for 30-60 seconds every two hours. This will reduce the redness and make your pimples less visible.
8. Change your pillowcases at least once a week, because oil and dirt will gather on them
9. Change your diet

Go see a dermatologist. The doctor gives you cleansers and medicine that help your face fight against acne. Right now i'm using prescription cleansers and medicine given to me by my dermatologist. They really work! also you can use Neutrogena Oil-free acne wash in the morning, Olay clarity foaming cleanser at night, and Neutrogena On-the-Spot acne treatment. Oh and dont drink any sodas or sweets. They will just make it worse. Drink alot of water and healthy snacks instead!

1. hormones, diet (what you eat on a daily basis), maybe you're not taking in as much vitamins as your body needs, stress, and your pores most likely got blocked with oil on your face therefore leading to acne.
2. don't touch your face! don't scratch it off or anything of that kind! it will just make it worst and leave a darkened area on your face. just leave it alone. use a face cleanser daily to help minimize pores and apply pimple cream before you sleep and when you wake up (it works for me).
i use clearasil's ULTRA acne clearing scrub (with the microbeads) and their acne cream. hope that helps.
