Well..what we titer in the laboratory is the amount of antibody a person produced against certain disease. Maybe what you are asking for is why hepatitis B antidoy titer decrease when hepatitis B enveope antigen dvelops. This is kinda confusing. If you already have the antibody tite for hepatitis B, it only means you are protected from the infections of Hepa B virus so basically there will be negative Hepatitis B surface antigen and even the hape B envelope.
