no unless you are getting bitten so hard it damages an artery, not likely to happen at all. the reason you get a bruise it because is blood vessels bursting and the blood goes into the surrounding tissue, clots normally happen in artery's but in most places in the body they are far enough from the skin so that we don't damage them in daily life

No, your teacher must've been lying because you can't die from that. What you had was probably just a blood blister. They happen sometimes when your skin is put under pressure or gets pinched. They also go away fairly quickly. No need to worry!

Yes. But usually they aren't big enough to cause damage before they dissolve. You won't die from them. :)
