I placed an order almost a month ago with Ocado - I have been ordering with them on a bi weekly basis for the past few months without any delivery problems at all.

However my Christmas order should have come last night - but the delivery driver couldn't find where we live - despite directions and Ocado's previous 100% success rate in finding our location.
He tried to call yes, but I didn't get the messages until gone 11pm when Ocado closes down.

Now it is impossible to get through on the phone and email response is within 72 hours - What a nightmare - CHRISTMAS HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED! It will have to be cancelled.

Have you experienced the same and what happened, and what can you do?

If you're in the South East, deliveries have been delayed by fog and heavy traffic. The most likely cause of your problem is that the driver was coming to the end of his shift and simply didn't bother to deliver the last orders on his list. The reason you can't get through to Ocado is that a lot of other people had the same problem. Keep trying.

Keep trying and complain. Could you go down there to complain in person? You should AT LEAST get your money back and go elsewhere. They should even offer you some sort of compensation for you sitting in and waiting for your delivery. You have paid for a service, they have not delivered, you are owed your money back.

I've never used a delivery service when the shop is critical, like Christmas. I have used Tescos a few times in the past and they've always been successful but I always forget things off the list so it's easier to go myself.

Mt friend once had a problem with a delivery from Tesco's which turned up on the wrong day and lots of the items that they had wanted weren't delivered. However he rang up and complained and it did get sorted. However I had to say that I use Tesco's (and touch wood so far) they have always given me a brilliant service.

However if I were you I'd keep trying to call them and I'd also write them a strong worded letter, because this really is NOT on

I order from tesco regulary & they have always delivered when they said they would. i would ring customer services & keep ringing for hours if you have to...complain when you get through & tell them its your essential food delivery for Christmas. I think they will get it to you pronto...who knows you may get some money knocked off for your inconvienience.
Dont give up..Keep trying on their telephone service line. Direct to your local store if you can.
Good luck.
