I have lower back trouble so I have to watch what excerises I do. my husband left me for another woman. He has had me stressed out for years from cheating and I know they say stress plays a part in belly fat. Does that belly fat diet pill really work? I tried Diets, Gym and drinking water. The pouch doesn't seem to even be affected by any of it. Please help me.

Ok, if you have lower back pain...you might want to try what I do...

Lay on your bed, on your back...

Now, with your hips and feet planted firmly, roll your shoulder to the opposite side, like your picking something up from past your other shoulder... Then, bring it back...And end up in the flat laying position... Try this on a bed, as it supports your back better than a hard surface.

Do this about 20 times to start out with on both shoulder rolls..(make SURE those hips and feet stay planted on the bed, or it does not good)...

This will strenghten your lower back muscles, and belly muscles, with out bringing undue pain to your back...(I know, I tried everything and every which way to do this and found this is the easiest for me, as I have lower back pain and deterriorating discs)...

Another thing you can do, is lay on your back, on a hard surface, and bring one knee up to your chest, with your feet touching your butt...

Do this 5 times (just starting out) and add 5 for the first four weeks, then add ten until your doing 50 of them a day on both legs.. your back will feel better and if you have any fat on them, you will "work" it off, and your back will be a lot better as the extra weight will be off the legs and less back strain...

I wish you well..

I'm not going to tell you to diet and exercise just a little bit harder because I'm sure you've already done that and despite your efforts, still no results. You mentioned that your lower back is troublesome. This could force you to be in an incorrect body posture, which can lead to a protruding belly (nothing to do with fat!). If your lower back is curved inwards and your pelvis is tilted then you'll get this belly. Make an appointment with a physiotherapist and complain of hip pains and uncomfortable stomach too. If this isn't your trouble, then perhaps you've got a very weak digestive system. Food stays and rots in your bowels, which are situated in your lower stomach. That can fill up quickly and cause a protrusion. Another problem could be bad circulation, which means that blood forms a pool around your lower belly, for this you would need to wear a compressing material on your stomach (it's the same as wearing flight socks, which compress the blood vessels in your lower legs so blood flows faster and doesn't form a pool of blood or form a blood clot). Whatever the reason for your problem, I wish you good luck and I hope that my suggestions helped you a bit.

sorry to hear that, but the belly pouch is there because of other reasons than just stress. you need to do some aerobics on machines or outside (when its warmer!) if i were you go back to the gym, they should be able to adapt your programme, show you some different exercises and help you lose it. If you have back problems, (lower?) then you can still do stomach workouts, just make sure that you keep your back stable! a few to ask about are : the plank, the cat (a hands n knees stomach hold) and crunches. all of those will help along with some hanging leg raises, as it is the lower stomach that you need to attack! also be careful of how your body moves and supports itself as this can have different effects on the problem and treatment. x

i have had 4 ceasareans and due to have another in march so i know about the belly pouch. the only way i have been able to reduce mine ( not get rid of it completely because mine was caused by surgery) is excercise. if your not sure what excercise to do go to your local health centre or gym and see a specialised instructor. you may have to pay but they will give you excercises you can do that you can fit around your back problems. I had back problems after my last pregnancy and had to see a hospital physio to help with movement but so i started from the very bottom but with gradual progression to upto what i call proper excercises i was able to shift most of it. i bid you well in your quest. from another sufferer
n.b. dont try the slimming pills as they have side affects. some come be that you sweat alot, grow facial hair, have bad breathe etc. avoid these at all costs. and have your meals at the same time each day but dont eat after 6 as you are less likely to be moving around so more than likely it would turn to fat. you can eat most foods but if you can try and stick to healthy options. and remeber breakfast like a king, luch like a queen and tea like a pauper. it does work.

Any exercise at all will help you lose fat, eat healthy. You don't need any snacks or desert because after your finished with them all your left with is are those fats in your stomach look for a new pouch to make = (. If it is a small amount of fat don't even worry about it, everyone has that sit down and make stomach rolls unless you have a eating disorder, or your a weight trainer. Also walk after you eat, that helps significantly to start motabolism as soon as the food is in your stomach and prevents food from building up causing fat.

I've read that there is no such thing as spot reduction so you will just have to do general exercises and eat healthy good. I'd say walking would be a good start.

Actually, my mate had a fair beer belly and started doing kick boxing about 5-6 months ago now and it's completely gone, and he is much more lean looking overall.

Go see your GP about the back problem. Most doctors will advise that excercise is the best way to maintain mobility and strenthen the back. Strenthening the stomach muscles will also help support the back. Do crunches, not sit ups.
Generally, there are no short cuts. The only answer to a healthy lifestyle is a combination of diet and excercise. One without the other will not work effectively.

Hi

I have had a belly fat, it is not caused by stress, its caused by eating/over eating, cut down on fatty foods. Try to take better care of yourself, go to the gym and get a personal trainer, they will show you how to lose all that jelly in your belly. Don't use quick diets, go in for the long haul, show your ex that u are better off without him.

You may need A belly Tuck Which involves a surgical procedure.

You will stay stressed out unless you forgive and go on with your life. If there was no justification for his action, he will be the end looser. Good luck and merry Xmas.

There is no proven way to spot reduce trouble areas. You just have to do cardio and eat a healthy lower calorie diet. Start walking around the block or something.
