Define yummy!
I'm perfectly OK with a good-quality ice cream, stuck in a glass. I put in enough milk to fill in the spaces, then stir it up with a spoon. This makes a very basic milkshake, but sometimes the basics are best.
For a really healthy milkshake, peel a banana, wrap it in plastic and freeze it for at least six hours (I keep some in my freezer all the time). Take it out, cut it into one-inch chunks, and put it in the blender. Add one cup of milk, 2 TBSP of powdered skim milk (if you have it -- you don't need it, but it adds calcium and makes it thicker), then whiz. Taste, and add sugar if needed. If you want it fancier, add some frozen strawberries for a strawberry milkshake. Add chocolate syrup for a chocolate milkshake. It's great, and you don't have to feel guilty about drinking it.
The blender is your friend for an ice cream milkshake, too. Just add a little less than half of the ice cream (so, if you put in a cup of ice cream, add 3/4 of a cup of milk) and blend. Extras are easy to add, too, like chopped oreos, chocolate syrup, strawberry jam, etc.
Yum, yum!
