I know, i know its terrible to stop taking medicaton of any sort so suddenly, a bad decision, but the deed is done.. But im not sure what kind of symptoms i should be feeling right now. I feel differently, i guess....but that could just be me knowing that im not on meds and thus noticing every little thing. Basically im just very confused...should i start them up again? what should i feel now? has anyone done this?

By the one month mark it should be out of your system so you shouldn't be feeling anything related to the drugs. You need to see your physician or psych since you feel differently than you think you should. Confusion and anxiety are symptoms of depression and you need to be re-evaluated before you start any medications...and you should NEVER self medicate...but you already know that I would say.

If you are not feeling any differently, that is a very good sign. I have never taken Zoloft, but have taken Paxil and Effexor, both are anti-depressants. Whenever I have suddenly stopped taking either of them, I have felt physically ill (i.e, nausea, dizziness, etc.), my depression symptoms have always returned or worsened when stopping with the medication, there are other symptoms that could occur depending on the medication. But if you are not noticing any side effects, you may be able to just stay off of them. But you should definately let your doctor know that you stopped taking them and keep him/her updated as to any side effects you may start feeling in the future. You can also go to WebMD.com and look up Zoloft to find out what side effects may occur when stopping the medication. Good luck!
