I am talking about Indian Cuisine, and he is vegetarian .. somehow I need to learn cooking first (I have never entered the kitchen in my life except to make noodles) .. but now we're all of adults and I feel the need to know all a home-maker does .. In about approx.3 months or less, he'll be here.. and I want to make all kinds of dishes for him.. Do you think it's possible? My friends suggest I first start with cutting up the vegetables (God help me) .. But do I go for cooking classes or best, learn from my mom and aunts???

Non-veg cooking has greater varieties but, my luck, I have to learn Vegetarian varieties ... any suggestions??? Please help ...........

start with the simpler salads 1st which should not take very long to learn and get your aunts to teach you the rest fast.
you can also look at cook books to help you.
good luck

I would suggest buying a book or 2 about Indian Cuisine and vegetarian cooking from Amazon books. Then just try away until he gets back.

I like your spirit and good luck.

buy cooking books for vegeterians only....then start trying them in the next 2 months...do not worry if u burn or ruin a number of them...u can be a good cook in a couple of monthes. If ur bf is indian u need to know about spices as well...specially hot spices. u betta buy a book with pictures and ask ur mom if u can. There are websites for vegeterians. go to:
