I feel that this question is rather presumptuous.
Why is there an automatic presumption that a lady looks for the man's money and looks? I don't.
Some men have the bad impression that ladies in general are attracted to money most , and your question is doing a disservice to those of us who are not.
A man need not be rich but he must be hardworking, have a stable occupation, willing to provide for family, & able to give the woman a sense of security (and this is not limited to financial security only but in the emotional and spiritual sense too).
Looks are not important because a man's attractiveness come from other things about him.
Personality and character make a man very attractive.
How a man treats women & takes care of them is important too.
A rich or goodlooking man who thinks his money or looks would have women falling over themselves to queue up for him , is not attractive .

One thing I look for is a man that can laugh, unfortunately they are few and far between. What I mean is real laughter, most men have recent issues that prevent this. Also a man that is not a control freak.

For me it has to be:
Respect for me, A positive vibe, a sence of humour, intellegence, a love of family and community, someone who is not afraid of disagreements, someone who has strong work ethics....
