In dhammavinaya it is clearly stated that Brahma-Sahampati, the one true god, visited the blessed one shortly after enlightenment.

Isn't it obvioius that this one true god, Jahwe, God, Allah, (hindu) Brahma, is just the same.

Even an atheist should be convinced by the presence of the blessed buddha.

So even if the texts are not entirely accurate, there seems to have been at least an encounter between Brahma-Sahampati and Buddha.

Convinced of what?

Buddha isn't here, but if he were, I'd be convinced of the presence of Buddha.

It's really pretty straightforward if you're willing to accept the truth.

I hope in 2000 years that someone doesn't find a bunch of writings from Stephen King and decide that this is what life was actually like at this point in time. What really gets me is that most christians know less about their own religion than most athiests know about it.
I think the main point I want to get across here is that if you read your own bible you'll find out that it is not a persons right to judge, that is for your god to do. So, if you're judging myself and others that don't believe as you do, I guess you're disobeying your own god and aren't bound for the kingom of heaven either.

We muslim belives that the God of all is only one and all of us humans are children of but one father and mother that is Adam and Eve so is the belief of my christian and Jewish brothers.as for my hundus brothers reffering to Brahma as God I have no objection because THE Sankrit word Brahma when translated into English it is the Creator which in Arabic means Khaleeq which is the attribute or another name of Allah so if a Hindu says Allah is Brahma Muslim will have no problem but if you say brahma is the one with four hands and head with a crown in his each head then we Muslim will takestrong excepation to it because you are giving image to Almighty God who is formless.and going against the Vedas which says
“Na Tasya pratima asti”

“There is no likeness of Him.” OR
'There is no image of him'
(Shwetashvatara Upanishad 4:19 & Yajurveda 32:3) SAME IS THE CASE WITH VISHNU WHICH MEANS SUBTAINER OR RUBB IN ARABIC

'Gnostics? The sufi? the warm international Order! ' i've got not any concept what you're speaking approximately, did you propose agnostics? via actuality they on the instant are no longer precisely an organised team so I dont think of of you ought to communicate for all of them. As for 'the scuffling with' there particularly isn't that many religous wars happening on the 2nd and if there have been i should be against it God does not pass with any scuffling with finished in his call. for sure i'm going to take care of that, Jesus reported to 'Love thy neighbour' and 'Love thy enemy' so Christians like me are doing the best comparable ingredient.

Atheists are not so different from any religion followers ...

Brag about being from "this or that" group and call everyone else stupid.

They worship "science", themselves, worship ideas, worship pleasure. And someone told them if you don't believe in God, you'll be so smart and you can make fun of all those stupid ones who believe :D

As for the smart atheists, i think if you try again and open your mind , you will see that there MUST be a god ... science did not disprove god, nor the mind did ... it's just your
Either 1- anger at religion and to the stupid things religious people do.
Or 2- You are blindly following who claimed to represent science and thought you have to follow science coz it's the smart people way.

Once again you are using the same fallacy plagued argument Christians have used for years. That just because a book says it it's true. You merely substituted the bible with dhammavinaya. Since it's proven that both books are written by men and not divine beings it is safe to assume that dhammavinaya is not proof of a holy being either.

Yes, nearly all religions worship the same God but call him/her different names. However, Atheists have not found a need for god in their lives, they can function better without the thought of someone looking overtheir shoulder judging theirevery action. they are like the peopleyou work with who just look at a problem and set to fixing it without asking for permission or help from their supervisors.
