Eat more slowly so that your body has time to process and know when its full. If you eat too fast the body can't accurately determine when you've had enough. Also, try drinking only water while eating so that the food is more appealing and reserve soda and tea as after dinner beverage.

Take slow steady bites. Chew your food very well and slowwwwwly! This will help settle your hunger and train your stomach to consume food less often and in longer periods of time. Drink lots of liquid and water because it helps to keep the stomach full. Try not to eat such heavy foods like hamburgers and lots of meat. Instead eat deli and yummy snacks like fruits.
