I think there is one sin in the bible that is unforgivable. Have you read that passage?

Edit:

Okay I did some research, could everyone who answered yes above please comment on this:

***

The case of the "unpardonable sin / unforgivable sin" or "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" in the New Testament is mentioned in Mark 3:22-30 and in Matthew 12:22-32. The term blasphemy may be generally defined as "defiant irreverence." We would apply the term to such sins as cursing God or willfully degrading things relating to God. It is also attributing some evil to God, or denying Him some good that we should attribute to Him. This case of blasphemy however is a specific one, called "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32 the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub" (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what exactly they did to commit "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit."

This blasphemy then has to do with someone accusing Jesus Christ (in person, on earth) of being demon-possessed. There are other ways to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, but this was "THE" blasphemy that was unpardonable. This means that this unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit cannot be duplicated today because Jesus Christ is not on earth but seated at the right Hand of God; however, the Holy Spirit still accomplishes supernatural things through His servants. Although there is no unpardonable sin today, we should always keep in mind there is an unpardonable state-the state of continued unbelief. There is no pardon for a person who dies in unbelief. Remember, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life." The only condition when someone would have no forgiveness is if that someone is not among the 'whoever believes in Him.'"

Bollocks!!

How can you preach about a god when not far from where i live in New Zealand 3 lovely children where killed by a bank fall on to them when swimming. Minding their own business and now gone!!

A week before Christmas

What about all the wars caused in your so called GODS name??

If a man spent 40 days and nights talking to a burning bush nowadays he would be classed insane and locked away.

Who wrote the bible?? Then who translated it in to english?
who translated it from hebrew to latin to german to french??
Did these people translate it right?? the Original texts are written backwards with nil grammer!!

Take this for an example, How would you read this

GODISNOWHERE

Some say God is now here
Others read it like God Is Nowhere!!

If you believe that is your right but do not close your mind to the "what If"

Your Mind Is Like A Parachute. If It Is Not Open It Wont Function
An eye for an eye Huh? then mankind would be born blind.

MERRY CHRISTMAS lol

Cool, this way no one needs to be responsible for their actions at all!

What kind of god forgives the 9/11 terrorists? What kind of god forgives serial killers?

The idea of reform through forgiveness seems to work OK, sometimes, for minor crimes and offenses, but it is just plain stupid for the most serious and violent crimes.

It has been necessary for people (not gods) to make and enforce laws that have allowed civilization to prosper. These crazy ideas of gods, afterlife, and forgiveness of sins just makes things worse.

Lovingly, Jehovah laid down detailed laws so that the nation of Israel could identify and avoid wrongdoing. (Romans 7:7, 12) These laws included strict guidelines on morality. Adultery, homosexual acts, incestuous relationships, and bestiality were all identified as unholy spiritual pollutants. (Leviticus 18:23; 20:10-17) Those guilty of such degraded acts were cut off from the nation of Israel.

When the congregation of anointed Christians became "the Israel of God," similar moral standards were laid down for them. (Galatians 6:16) Christians too were to "abhor what is wicked." (Romans 12:9) Jehovah's words to Israel also applied to them: "You must be holy, because I am holy." (1 Peter 1:15, 16) Such unholy practices as fornication, adultery, homosexual acts, bestiality, and incest were not to corrupt the Christian congregation. Those refusing to stop engaging in such things would be excluded from God's Kingdom. (Romans 1:26, 27; 2:22; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10; Hebrews 13:4) In these "last days," the same standards apply to the "other sheep." (2 Timothy 3:1; John 10:16) As a result, anointed Christians and other sheep make up a clean and wholesome people, able to carry the name of their God.—Isaiah 43:10.

Yes! Isn't it wonderful that GOD will forgive us any sin we have committed if we will only ask him!
I am so glad that our Savior JESUS CHRIST became man and died for our sins.
I know that we as humans can not believe that GOD is willing to forgive us anything, but it is true. I know that GOD will even forgive someone as horrible as Hitler if they repent and ask for forgiveness.
This is one of two of the most important seasons for believers.
Christmas- the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth and Easter- the celebration of his Resurrection.
I hope you and all Answer participants have a safe and happy Holiday season.

yes.I believe that life on earth is like going to a really tough school. We are meant to come here and experiment and experience, of course sometimes we do not do well. I think there are many oppurtunities to get it right. I believe ultimately we have to ask ourselves, did my "sinful" actions hurt anyone? If so was it on purpose? What can be done to fix it? If the answers are no or nothing, then apologize, learn all you can from the experience and move on. truly yours, hansiels_host, alexis

Yes. God promised to forgive all sins if we repent. The only sin that cannot be forgiven is going against the Holy Spirit. Bye!

Yes, all sins are forgivable, except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Spiritual Sun, He does not condemn us, but our choice to turn the back to Him, we naturally condemn ourselves to complete darkness.

The only sin He will not forgive is a person saying that He is not the one and only G-d. This includes saying that Jesus is G-d. Jesus is not G-d.
