You're driving along on a 4 or more lane highway and someone is in the passing lane with a million cars behind them holding up traffic......why don't they just move over?

In Calif, left lane road boulders can be cited for driving slower than the normal speed traffic going in the same direction,

Driving in excess of the posted speed limit in any lane is illegal and can be unsafe.
Driving in the left lane below the speed of normal traffic is also illegal and unsafe.
Two wrongs committed by stubborn people do not make either one right.

On I-25 through Denver and Colorado Springs, you are only allowed in the left lane for passing. There is a law that says that you cannot remain in the fast lane for more than 2 miles or something.... no one really does it, but you can get a ticket if you're caught.

They DO move over in Germany, or risk getting a ticket. German drivers have much better lane protocol & discipline than drivers in the US. You should come over here and drive on the autobahns for a day; you'd love it.

1. If they are below the speed limit, they should be cited.
2. If they are AT the speed limit, they are breaking no law.
3. Four lanes gives others sufficient choices to pass.
4. People observing the speed laws are not required to move out of the way of speeders who ignore limits. If you want to break the law, just pass the guy and quit whining.

because they want to slow down the traffic. The second reason is if they have a brand new nice car they want to show off to other motorists.
