They'll be ok. No worries. Candle wax comes out in the poopie.

Good Luck.

My puppy ate just a few bites of candle wax shavings a couple of hours ago. She just now threw up twice. Since she has NEVER thrown up before (she is 6 months old), I'd say the candle wax is the cause. Hopefully, she got rid of it and will be fine; but I don't think it's a good idea to just assume that everything will come out in a dog's poop.

Hi, Being puppies to much candle wax shavings could plug the little guys up. This wouldn't be a pretty site.Keep an eye on the puppies for a couple of days,to be safe. If something happens rush them to the vet.

Haha, good question! it happens to a lot of people and they just start freaking out.
Candle wax won't hurt a dog for a second. All that happens is it goes into their stomach's their bowels and then expels with their feces, it won't hurt them, or cause any problems, scented or not.
For some reason many dogs like eating candles, don't worry, the only reason to worry is choking, but if it's only shavings or it's been a while and their not showing any bad signes, don't worry about it.
Take care, Merry Christmas.

what kind of candle wax shavings? are there additives that could be dangerous to the dog? just plain candle wax shouldn't be a problem. but scented and candles with additives could be. watch for vomiting and any other sign of sluggishness that could be from an upset tummy in your dog. if they show signs take them to your vet. if you are worried call your vet and ask. why are you shaving candles?

Watch for negative reactions to the chemicals in the wax. That would happen shortly after eating it. Watch to make sure they aren't constipated too.
This is a risky time of year for pet owners and we all have to be careful with decorations. Plants like poinsettias can be very dangerous.

It's okay and it will pass just don't let them keep eating the stuff and watch the puppy because no telling what he's going to try to eat next.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Learn more http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?22o5

The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don’t achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren’t putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.

The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.

Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

Probably nothing. I've been astounded at some of the things my puppy ate and he did fine. Just watch them and if they seem to have digestive distress take them to the vet.
