i asked myself this very question...i have no idea,Hendrick hired Mears for some idotic reason,and McMurray can't drive to save his life thats why he wrecks in 80%of the races

You're kidding right? Casey Mears has only been getting better each year and now that he has a decent team I imagine he'll start winning some races.
I think Jaime McMurray is okay, he just had a bad year, as did a lot of the top drivers did.

Well Casey Mears has a new team this year, we will see if that will make any difference. Jamie McMurray kept having his crew's switched around this year, they gave him Carl Edwards Crew, then they took them away and gave back his old crew. That certainly doesn't help any.

Hendrick's only expecting Mears to be his no. 4 driver behind Johnson, Gordon and Kyle Busch.
McMurray is Roush's no. 4 behind Kenseth, Biffle, and Edwards (and possibly David Ragan).
Plus who's going to replace them? They aren't a lot of good drivers available to fill those seats.

Casey is a very good driver. He was on a team that was more dedicated to the other drivers on the team than him. Now he'll be teammates with Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, I think he'll get his first win this year.

These are 2 bright young drivers who have had a bad year.Both have the teams and equipment to win just need to be more consistant in the events.
