That's a very good question. The weather is changing around the world, that's for sure. In Australia especially in the southern inland regions there's a terrible drought. But in some countries there's more rain than usual causing mudslides and all kinds of flooding havoc. The world isn't running out of water. What it is doing is managing its resources wrongly. We're making the air and water dirty and heating up the air with all our industrial activities and not thinking enough about the future of the planet.

Yeah, it is. We're too late to realize it. Not only in an advanced country like Australia (as a continent, too). Indonesia, your neighbour, hopefully you think the same, is running out of fresh, clean, clear water, too(I heard nearly all of the neighbouring countries suffer from unavailability of fresh water, too). But, of course, some places are way better than the more secluded ones, like Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Medan, Denpasar, etc are much better.
Fresh water is descending in quantity because we have no focused concern on the sustainability & availability of the supporting nature elements.
Eg1 : we selfishly vanish the rainforests by cutting down the trees that are ready for production without replacing them back properly by planting twice the amount.
Eg2 : we give no chance to green open space to exist. We prefer skyscrapers more. What we sow is what we reap, rite ??

Conclusion : Overseas isn't better either. The world is on the verge of extinction if no quick & proper actions are immediately taken.

Yes it is. Australia is getting worse, partly because of the overfarming in the past. Lot of your underground water is gone, and salt water has replaced it. Here, in California the drought, wet season is screwed up,. and there are far more people living here than nature meant it, plus we're farming out in the desert. China is bad too. Northern CHina always has a drought problem, but a lot of their water is now contaminated. In South America, Water is growing scarce, because greedy British bought up water supplies. Supply is still plentiful, but corporate giants are charging an arm a leg for water to people who makes a dollar a day. They see where our water supply is going and decided to profit from peoples misfortune rather than solve the problem.

Honey, I'm afraid it's the other way around. The world is getting a bit warmer, and and the ice caps are melting. Places like Venice are getting flooded more often, and I can only feel for you. Here on top of a mountain in the Philippines, it's very windy and so far we've had several typhoons so it's maybe even too wet. Please accept my wishes for a bit of rain in your place and no fire scares.

It's wet enough in United States it's either rain or snow.
