Cats usually sleep alot, up to about 14 hours a day.

Most cats should sleep many times throughout the day and night. Anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour or two. They spend a larger part of the day asleep then they do awake. They also tend to be somewhat nocturnal. They're not like humans where we stay up continuously 2/3 of the day, and then sleep continuously for 1/3 of it.

Maybe she's sleeping when you are, or when you're not there, so you don't see it. If she doesn't seem tired and fatigued all the time, then she's probably getting enough sleep.

Kittens sleep (and play) hard.
They sleep a lot, as it is during sleep times they do their growing. Specially at 7 weeks, it is still a baby and really shouldnt have been rehomed until it was 8 weeks. But it should be sleeping a fair amount

Kittens sleep most of the day. Think, they play pretty hard when they are awake and wear themselves out.

If your kitten isn't sleeping much, ask yourself one thing. How much does it get bothered when it is sleeping? Try to give your kitty a quiet place to sleep. That and it might be sleeping more then you think. When your not home or when you are sleeping. When you are awake and home, it has a playmate and might have gotten all the sleep it needs while you were busy.

all she wants as long as she is playful, eating and drinking normally and is acting fine otherwise. cats tend to sleep a lot. but since you have such a young kitten they are very curious and tend to have a higher energy level than older cats. plus she is in a new place with new things and sounds, smells, people, etc...she will sleep once she feel comfortable. good luck

lol.My kitten is about the same age and she is an obnoxious little brat! Always getting into things and running around everywhere.Your kitten probably is missing mommy and his brothers and sisters.Give him/her some time to adjust. If it continues,go to the vet.

they usually sleep quite a lot, this kitten is likely missing its mother and is very confused.

She's probably up cause she's hungry..See aa local vet and buy a can of mother's milk substitute for your Christmas Kitty.......Also buy a baby bottle at the vet's office.......You'll be happy to give this little one a good chance at life...She's young to be awat from her mom .if she's still with mom she needs help with eating...good luck.
