It depends on your metabolic rate and how heavy you are to begin with.
But that is not exactly a safe or good way to lose eweight cos you lose it fast but put it on fast as well.
I would think the most effective way is to do a detox ...
I lost 15kg in 2 months using a detox. You can see my before and after pics here:
http://dreamsincredibles.blogspot.com/2005/10/angel-lost-15kg-within-2-months.html
Now, I specialize in helping people lose weight easily and quickly using the detox program i used.
If you do a detox, you will be able to:
- gain better health and
- better vitality and
- even more radiant skin and
- the loss of some excess pounds as well,
All you need to do is three things.
Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.
Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods consumable even by babies and pregnant women that will enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.
Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out.
If you exercise by either running or swimming, it will furthur enhance the results.
And that's it.
The rest is up to you.
So what do you think? ;)

cereal diet will be a better choice. Liquid diet will be more to side effect e.g odema (water retention). Cereal diet will have more nutrition as well. So, keep it going. But shld u feel any restlessness or lethargic etc, pls back to normal diet and observe. See a doc if ur body get weaker.

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. why would you want to go on a liquid diet, or cereal diet.? you would lose weight.. but not for very long.. it would destroy ur metabolism, and in turn u would gain weight when u started eating properly again... think twice before using this diet

That's rapid weight loss but make sure you take supplements so that you don't suffer from malnutrition. Check the calorie content of what you drink too and in the instance of milk use the fat free skim milk to get the nutrients without the fat and calories. Also incorporate a regular cardio/resistance exercise routine into your plan to keep your metabolism up.

do the ceral one and add salad to it also..you can also use ceral bars in place of snacks and dont forget to add fruits..but every 3 or 4 days eat a regular meal if you dont your body could think your going through famine and that would slow down your losing the weight you want to.. mainly because if your body thinks it going to starve it will hang on to what body fat it has

I would estimate a 3 lbs. loss per day. Of course, that depends on the amounts, and your dedication to such a regimen.
