How killing in the name of certain faiths seems to be accepted. How sins are forgiven by going to confession or saying hail marys. It's all very hypocritical.

Well answers one and two are really the way cults work. Actual religion does not require that from its fellowship. Examples the baptist do not really teach on much, But they do preach and they have sunday school so people if they chose can study togeither. But you can study at home if you wish. In other words you are not forced in any way. And you can go to service or not go no one is going to come get you unless you call for a ride.
The assembleis of God are the same in these requards.
What i find the most disturbed about religion in these times is the cold hearts of the people. Some of them are as stiff as a log. Not all but some. Also the lack of power in the pultips which would account for the cold hearted people.

I understand the top is God, Jesus is the mediator between God and man.
The bible meant for the last days and to those alive at the second coming of Jesus.
1000 to 3000 religions having a group of beliefs and methods or rituals that represents them and each grow into an organized
religion.
WHY ANY SERIOUS MIND CAN BE EXPECTED TO CHOOSE?

Can't 6 million people read this book and all of them come up with the same agreement?
Why is it that this book does not say the same thing to everyone?
Why do so many people get a different figure in the math that the book is giving?
If my math does not agree with the math the religion has, why am I expected to use their math?
I AM SURE GOD AND CHRIST KNOW SOMETHING THAT HUMANKIND AND RELIGIONS ARE MISSING AS WE ARE IN THE END TIMES AND FOR HOW LONG AS TO SCRIPTURE SAYING?
John 6:39,40,44 [ I will raise him up at the lat day ];
WHO KNOWS WHAT IS MEANT BY THE LAST DAY?
1Thes.4:15-17; The dead and alive caught up to be with Jesus.
Michael of Jude 9; and Dan.12:1-13; there from Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12; Satan down to the caught up to 20:1-6,12,13 [ No Satan ]; And the heavenly and the earthly have their place in the 1000 year reign.
The day and hour known only by God and no one else, but Jesus does not come as a thief in the night to children of the light of times and season 1Thes.5:1-9,21;
WHO CARES ANYTHING ABOUT TIMES AND SEASONS?

I care for all the above. Jesus second coming is not in my life time. I will stay a bible student and stay in his word seeking his knowledge.

What to me is the most disturbing part is that people use blanket statements to generalize all Christians into a nice neat hypocritical category. I wish they could understand that many Christians donate time to charity, donate money, are very open, and are even non-judgmental.

I know that you are not saying these things, but that's like saying all people from Tennessee are the same way, or all New Yorkers are the same way, or all Catholics, or all Jewish, or all Atheists.

Please realize that yes there are imperfect Christians, but also a lot of good people out there who try to live the way that Christ taught us to live and that is to love one another.

Thank you for listening

The entire thought of organized religion has always interested me. How is it people come to some mass agreement that has no substantial proof. It's entire basis is faith. Sometimes blind faith. I always think back to when I would question something my mother would say, and of course her common answer was "because I said so". That's the same way I think about faith. Not that I'm knocking people who have faith themselves. It does a lot of good things for people who may need to believe that there is an almighty creator. I wish there was a hard,fast,undeniable way to prove, or dis-prove it. So to answer you question. The most disturbing thing to me about org. religion is,the lack of proof, and blind faith.

Forsaking the word of God to conform to certain unbiblical teachings, doctrines and creeds. Organized religion has blinded the people and people would rather take what the church says or what so and so says than take what the Bible says.

I think its strange that authority figures are always men, and some religions believe there is a living prophet, and its always a male too.
