After nearly 2,000 years of the Catholic Church saying the Jews killed Jesus---------alot of people still believe it. Blame the church if people feel this way.

1) People don't hate the Jews for killing Christ. That's simply a convenient excuse.
2) The Italians converted to Christianity long ago, along with most of the western world. The Jews have so far failed to do so, in any great numbers.
There's no reason to hate the Jews, but lots of reasons to criticize the policies and practices of the modern day and largely apostate nation of Israel.

You should be more specific about who is doing the hating. If you mean Christians, then you are way off. True Christians DO NOT hate Jews. In fact, many Christians risked their lives during the Holocaust to save Jews. People who blame Jesus' crucifixion on the Jews do not really understand the Bible.

"People" don't. Certain Christian sects have used this as an excuse to attack an outside group (Jews) for not cow towing to their rule. Under Muslim rule in Spain, the Christians, Jews and Muslims lived and prospered peacefully together. It was not until Ferdinand and Isabel brought Christianity back to power that the blood shed begain again.
The Romans were like an occupying army like the Americans in Iraq. They figured if they got rid of enough of the opposing leadership the rest of the citizens would bow to their power. Didn't work for the Romans either.

Thet can't hate the Italians, that's where the head of the christian church lives. However, they hate thejews because ofa long practice of blaming them for every bad thing that's happened throughout history, Adam andEve were jews, Noah and the flood, Moses and the plagues in egypt. Hell, themuslims blame the Jews because Ishmael was a sick pig who "played" with his little brother Isaac and got thrown out of the tent. besides its always easier to hate people who look differently, and dress differently, and speak a different language for all yourproblems than theguy next door who you have to see every day( even though he did it)

It is simple ignorance. Jesus went to the cross voluntarily. He did not blame the Jews or the Romans. We are not to blame them either.
Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins. Therefore we are responsible for his crucifixion.

The Jews are cursed but they are also Gods choosing people, I think they were meant to go through the things they have.
Actually the Jewish priest had Jesus killed, Pilate didn't want to kill him.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
When Allah will say, 'O Jesus son of Mary, remember My favour upon thee and upon thy mother; When I strengthened thee with the spirit of holiness so that thou didst speak to the people in the cradle and when of middle age; and when I taught thee the Book and the wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when thou didst fashion a creation out of clay, in the likeness of a bird, by My command; then thou didst breathe into it a new spirit and it became a soaring being by My command; and thou didst heal the night-blind and the leprous by My command; and when thou didst raise the dead by My command; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from putting thee to death when thou didst come to them with clear Signs; and those who disbelieved from among them said, 'This is nothing but clear deception.'
