I Brought a slow cooker a couple years ago the problem is i did lost the box without writing down the size of the slow cooker. I finally got a measuring cup and filled it with water to see how many quarts it was. It held 8 cups of water which is 2 quarts.
Unfortunatly the majority of recipies that are out there are for 4 even worse 6 quarts. Where can i go to reliably convert recipeis for larger slow cookers or find a place where there is recipies for 2 quart slow cookers redily available?

I have the same size- I am either making dinner for me or myself and my boyfriend. The only time I use it is really for a 2 person meal.

Here is where I bookmarked a favorite recipe page. I like it because at the recipe header you can change the serving size and it automatically recalculates the recipe for you. I pasted one here for you. Enjoy! http://crockpot.cdkitchen.com/

I have a couple that have alot of great things. If you happen to find one for a 4 qt why not just split the recipe in half? Just a thought. Or if it is a 6 qt you can spit into thirds. I normally have to double or triple these recipes because I have one of the 8 qt cooker. Then again I have two teenage boys, a husband, and it seems whatever I eat the dog wants too. So I end up cooking enough for a small army. Hope these work out well for you.
