The military doesn't have a place for gays or transsexuals. You'd be drafted and then given a dishonorable discharge, which is the equivalent of a felony conviction.
You may not think it's right, but that's the way it is. And, you'd probably end up with a few broken bones before it was all over. We used to call it a shower party...

Honestly I would love to see a draft. There isn't alot of vocal opposition to the war and the younger people 18-25 are not really involved in trying to end it. If they are at risk of going and fighting involuntarily they will have alot more to say and I think it only fair that EVERYBODY is involved in the war not just those who sighed up under the urging of a recruiter who promised them money, an education and everything else. Let's have some senators grandchildren at risk and it won't last much longer.

The army don't put up with gays or other strange people. They would never make it past the recruitment centre. If they did the wouldn't last long because of the culture on the services. Servicemen generally hate anything that is perceived as a threat to their safety and they take a dim view of being locked up with anything weird or unsafe or abnormal. I certainly would class a tran-sexual as weird or abnormal wouldn't you? Could you imagine shower time with a tranny?
For one, which shower and latrine would it use?
I don't think it would ever work to tell you the truth, not that I would want it to work.

I would definitely think that they would be treated as a woman. I am pretty sure a homosexual is still frowned upon in the United States Military. But I personally believe that any person who wants to fight for their country should be given that right, man, woman, or even child.

Under current law, gays and Tran-sexuals are draft exempt. Since they aren't allowed in, they can't be forced in.

They would be disallowed for enlistment probably citing something like "psychologically unable to adapt" or "in the interest of unit cohesion." Shemales wouldn't do very well in this man's army.

due to fact that you need your original birth certificate and if its says male but recruit is female, i think there would be questions and military would decline and if the sexual preference is covered and you are drafted, then false pretenses will get you discharged.

Not hard at all. They would be exempt for at least two reasons. If they had sexual reassignment surgery, they would be ineligible or if they didn't, they would be deemed ineligible for pychological reasons.
