Not really, its more of a day of rest too me. I'll get a few presents for my son but he opens them on Christmas eve.

I guess if we had a family it would've meant more to us than it does.

the reason why i celebrate the holiday christmas is totally different from most ppl.i celebrate it the pagan ways, and the old ways of the witch.i am yes a witch but through wicca religion.i celebrate christmas as Yuletide.the winter months that arrive in our world, the fact that it is winter, and the God and the Goddess are preparing to live their lives through the winter pale. They worry about how are They going to survive through this winter season.so the God goes out into the woods and hunts for food and wood for He and the Goddess.they look forward for the long dark short winter months that is ahead of them.as pilgrams that of we,we look at the season in rememberance of the God and the Goddess.and we give blessings to them and understand the life they led when they were at this time.Yule is a meaning of a new life,of the coming of the long cold winter nights.we should be thankful to the God and Goddess that we dont have to live like that they did.the fact that they had to is a means of learning of the old ways.to worship with Them.

Joshua ben Joseph (Jesus) was born in September 4 BCE.

The Christian Church establish December 25th.

American culture has combine Thanksgiving, Christian, New Years into the holidays.

Why do I celebrate both Thanksgiving and Christmas? Because I am thankful for my God.

I celebrate Christmas because it's the one holiday where everyone is in a warm and good mood. It's nice to have some hot cocoa with my loved ones and open gifts. Everyone is happy altogether for once.

We're not really a religious family, but Chistmas is always a great time of year when the whole family gets together to grub out on Christmas chow, play games, watch movies, and basically re-bond, and catch up with each other. Luckily my family isn't one of those dysfunctional disasters we hear so much about. We actually like to spend time hangin out together.

Christmas is celebrated because it is the birth of Christ.

I don't know if you realize it, but the Christmas Tree symbolises Christ on the cross.

We don't; it's a pagan holiday and not biblical based. The only occasion the Jesus commanded us to celebrate was the memorial of his death.

I don't. It's nothing more than a commerical holiday, with no support in the Bible to prove Christ was born on Dec.25th.
