I see blood red in color, but does that mean it is tasteless.

Blood tasts a little salty with some metallic ting. (ie human blood tast like that.) Best time to find the tase is when you cut ur fingure and try to lick off the wound to reduce the pain.

Do not know if different animals blood tasts different.

No. It doesn't mean being in red color, blood is tasteless.
It tastes salty …if u have cut in your finger, taste it.

Haven't you ever had a bloody nose?
It tastes like copper, quite strong. The smell is also distinctive, if subtle.
