family ? I don't know if this is true in real life, maybe it is. But my question is if a close friend or a relative wants to visit the patient (who is either serious or not) will he/she not be allowed !!?? Some patient/s might not be having an immediate family ?

Normally, anyone can visit the patients not just relatives. HOWEVER, if you ask for specifics about the patients health care, you will be asked if you are related. Godloveya.

most hospitals have visiting hours when anyone can visit, unless the person is in ICU, then it is usually only family and so many at a time. But even in ICU in some hospital you don't have to be family. It maybe at the persons request only family visit.
