I have a medical condition that causes me to have extreme pain and tightness in the muscles of my neck, and I have a good friend of mine with the same condition that has one that she trained to lay on her neck at night and she said that it has worked wonders. But, due to my medical bills, I cannot afford to pay for the high prices for one. If you know anyone that has an adult available located in KS or MO please let me know. Thanks.

Also, my vet has agreed to donate all medical services and premium cat food at no charge, so the cat will recieve great care.

I do not have allergies, but I want that breed due to their nature and the fact that they are so warm to the touch.

I have reseached the breed for the last 6 months, and I have learned about all of the grooming and care that comes from them being a hairless cat.

Thanks for all of your help!

Sphynx can be quite costly, I know I own a three yr old odd-eyed white. I am not sure where you can get one for free, most breeders and rescue staff are pretty reluctant to give away animals as the fees involved or often viewed as a good faith gesture that this animal will be loved and be taken care of, as well as funds future endeavors. You might be able to speak to breeders in your area, who often have retired breeders or other older cats available for adoption for just a placement fee. Or you can contact a Sphynx rescue group and discuss the situation and see what resources they might have for you. Below is a link for a list of rescue groups.
Sphynx are highly affectionate cats but still require grooming for their body oils and not all are completely hairless. Having them as a companion as well might be beneficial, but adopting a cat is a commitment make sure this is something you can take on.

No where that I know of. Not unless you are GOOD friends with a Sphynx breeder. Most all kittens will start at $800+. Even a Sphynx rescue group will be charging several hundred depending on what needs to be done for the cat.

Hi there...are you looking for the Sphynx breed in particular because you also have cat allergies? If so, please note that Sphynx also produce the same allergen Fel d1 in their saliva. What you need for your medical condition is a wheat bag.

These cost about the same as one weeks cat food & are reactivated by putting in a microwave for 2-3 minutes. They will then sit wherever you place them.
