If you are talking to your husband or asking him about something and he finds some way to get off subject, accuses you of something, or tries to make you feel like you don't have the right to be asking him such things, 9 times out of 10 he has something to hide and the only thing to do then is to just ask him straight out what you think he is lying about. After that if the you still supect lying, be strong and ask for time apart. He then assumes that you are willing to put it all on the line over the issue and then the truth comes out.

Recomend you do a web search for kinessics. It is one of the techniques the FBI uses for interviews. Specifically palm flashes when confronted with a questiion they are uncomfortable with. Just as an example. Another is that liars don't do well telling lies in reverse chronology. Good Luck.

Look into his eyes. If he looks up that means he's telling the truth because he's trying to recall from memory. If he looks down he's lying because he's trying to make something up. If he averts his eyes and is forcing a smile, he's also lying.

Dig in more to your question and if he's inconsistent with his answers, you know he's just making it up. Another way is if he is unusually sweet to you.
