I have looked, studied and compared practically all major religions. Roman Catholics, Protestants, Pentecostals, Baptist, Muslim (I even learned to read and write in Arabics and can still recite texts from the Al-Quran and Hadiths), I stuided Buddhism and Taosism from my uncle who was the chairman of Sam Kauw Hwee (Buddhism-Taoism and Confucianism Association) in Makassar, and studied Evolution theory as well, and so I can say I did not follow my religion blindly.

Christians have to many different views today and not enough views in common.
So they do look into other views that are not God fearing. So, it's not so much being Christians as being of Christ.
The Bible says the kingdom of the devil is divided, and the House of The Lord(House Of Israel)is a house of order.
So why give up so easy, Satan gotcha?

I am a Christian, and no, I have never, EVER looked into any other views. I prefer living a God-fearing life, because, heck, think about it! Our God is the CREATOR of the entire UNIVERSE! he created everything so exact, so precise, that the slightest bit of error, and humans/earth would not be here today! Imagine, he is the one who determines when you are going to die, and he decided how you were going to look. Think about how a child respects his father, the same way that Christians respect God. We love him, and he loves us back, but there is the line of respect that we must draw between us and him, for we are no where NEAR equal to him. Yes, God loves everyone, and he wants us to have a personal relationship with him. We technically DON'T love a God-fearing life, but more of a God-is-greater-so-we-should-respect-him life.

Because if I'm right that God exists then I get to live for eternity in an awesome peaceful place. If I'm wrong and God doesn't exist then I still lived a good, decent and peaceful life here. Win win situation.

To fear God is to reverence and to worship Him. Is is not to be frightened of Him. We worship God because He loves us. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us to give us eternal life and to live life more abundantly on earth. God have given us so much by asking us just to believe in His Son as our Savior and Lord. We reverence and worship God therefore out of our love for Him for loving us so much while we were still sinners. After we are Christians He is our Father and we love Him as His children. It all just a natural love flow.

Most Christians know very little about their own religion, much less anyone else's.

I feel it is more an awe of God rather than a fear of God.
God is much more love to me than fear.
