Yea, it was just a last ditch effort by the old guard Stalinists in Hollywood to white-wash the misdeeds of their fellow-traveling leftys in the Media. Ed Murrow was a goddamned communist, sure as the sun will rise tomorrow! He used his position to shield other commies in the US from prosecution. Joe McCarthy was a true American Hero, and we have seen how right he was about the Red Scare.
We sure could use a Un-American Activities Committee in Congress today. Especially after January when the Dems take charge, God help us!
