I have found all of my best friends from my childhood, it keeps me in touch with current friends, it helped me find friends when I needed them or was bored, and it led me to the greatest man I have ever met. We are now engaged and very happy. Plus everyone and there mothers are on there.

Orkut was good...but with growing number of users it's a little hard to say that it's still a graet place. But you could try your luck there anyhow.
