One bag, bottles to go in the hold (ridiculous suggestion!), no liquids except baby milk, all small items to be in a re-closeable clear plastic bag, no presents to be wrapped. If you're going less than 1000 miles from Heathrow, don't even bother to try. It's fogbound and they're only allowing long distance hauls in/out.
Have a happy Christmas.....

The rules keep changing so any advise from here will soon be out of date, wait until the night before your flight and check with the airline or the BAA website for the most up to date info

Nothing. Atleast it's going to get to that point. You'll just walk on to the plane in your skivies and they'll be like: "Have a nice flight!"

(yawn) go to the BAA website. IThey change the rules all the time.

I normally check it the morning that I fly, it's the only way to keep track of it.

If you mean hand luggage. I think they have relaxed the rules. Lotions, make up etc. is now allowed in a see through bag.
