hi
I have lots of terrible scars from self-injurious behaviour. Most are on my legs and my left arm, and are very noticable. I want to have relationships with people, but I am scared that they will be repulsed by my body-to be honest, I am sometimes. Should I tell people and risk rejection or just try and hide the scars as much as possible? Thanks

hi, i say tell people show them off for better or worse they are yours and each one has a story and that helps make you who you are today! i may just be one of those black sheep but i have scars and in my family well my siblings we sit there and discuss who's are better! as long as you can be comfortable with them everyone else should be as well!

I probably wouldn't say anything unless someone noticed them. There is no sense in giving too much information if you don't have to.
