If there really is a satan he's been in control since the beginning. The crusades. The witch trials. Wars. Murder. Rape. Theft. If he is real then he's every where and has been every where since the beginning of time.

This day in age is no different to any other.

Think about it. The Catholic church back in the medieval times made up **** and had people follow it. Such as the crusades. Tithes to buy loved ones souls out of hell. They killed anyone that disagreed with them. None of that is in the bible. They made it up to serve there own purposes

Now priests are being accused of molestation and the church buys it's way out of it. And you know that stuff has been going on for a while.

Hell if there is a satan he practically runs the Catholic church.

Satan no longer has any official power on earth, as he lost everything moments after the death of Christ.

That said, there are plenty of people living on the earth who choose to follow evil, and so end him their power.

It works a lot like Saadam Hussein in Iraq.

He's been kicked out of office, jailed, and tried, and so has no official power any more, yet those who believe in him still do unspeakable evil in his name, purely for their own purposes.

The mythological creature would have to exist first to do any damage.
And spare the "that's the biggest trick he/she can ever pull, convincing you he/she doesn't exist"
If that's not a religious paranoid conspiracy theory (and there are quite a few) then you are easy fooled by the people in your "order"
It's an ingenious argument but one based solely on fear.

Satan is just an idollic figure for what we humans perceive as evil.

By hey if you want to believe you live in a world that is primarily evil then don't stand in my way...

Of course it's true. It's biblical. Actually, this world is currently under the 'power' of satan. He was set loose here to live until Jesus comes again, which He will and satan will be cast into hell. satan knows his fate, he knows the truth and you should too.

Satan doesn't exist.

However, there is no pure evil form or pure good form in this universe either. For example;

The Yin-Yang is a depiction of the balance of light and dark. There is dark within light, and light within darkness. Henceforth, purity cannot exist in any way, shape or form.

There are many variations of gods and goddesses who are evil; They cannot be purely evil.

Its true, he's the prince of the air and he wasn't lying when he tried to get Jesus to worship him by offering Jesus the world. Man through sin gave up the right and ownership of the world to satan :-(

The only power Satan has over, are for weak willed people and those who lack belief in God. All their power though are all temporary and will not last.
"Whom the gods wish to destroy, they first drunk them with power."

Yes, absolutely. That is why Muslims are killing Muslims in Iraq. It is an orgy of killing, and Satan loves it. People who believe in God or Allah need to resist this evil or else the world is ******.

Yes, Satan is the Prince of this World, but Jesus has overcome... so although he has power, through our choice of whom we serve we are empowered and/or saved.
