What's the name for the male dog?

I check the dictionary for the hell of it, and the first defintion for bi+ch is a female dog. What are the male dogs called?

-Also, do male cats go into heat too?

It is actually dog, females are bitches, and offspring are pups. Males can also be called stud or sire when breeding, and females are dams or bitches. But in general, dog is just the male.

NO a MALE anything can not go into heat. Heat means Estrus. Estrus is the dropping of eggs. Males do not have eggs to ovulate. A male cat can display simular signs of heat cycles, but are not in heat.
