well my mom is 42 and every now and then she'll have a break out or one will pop up. I guess it's when you get really really old that you'll stop getting acne. I have it but then again i'm only 18 i use Retin-A. Works really well. But it's prescription medicine unless you go to mexico and get (which is what i did) It does not have to do with food!!! OMG! I'm tired of people saying that if it had to do with all the junk food and bad stuff you ate then all the fat people in the world would have acne but guess what...they don't!

Well I'm 26 and still have it. I DO think your diet has a lot to do with your skin and breakouts. I have always heard chocolate and greasy foods don't make you break out, but for the last 6 weeks I have been on a diet where I only eat lean meats, vegetable and fruits, rice and potatos and no added salt, oil, butter and my face had gotten considerably less oily. I also take Co-Q-10, acetyl-L-carnitine and fish oil pills which help to keep my skin less oily. I read a book about natural cures for acne and they suggested these supplements. Some others were grape seed oil and alpha lipoic acid. Also tea tree oil applied topically will lessen the redness or inflammation of a pimple.

a lot of women at that age get it. I have this product called tazorac that really helps.
here is the website with videos of older women who have used it

i have severe acne and it has really helped and i have been through the mill with meds. dont use hot water when washing and use neutragena. make sure your skin products are oil fee. I use that bare minerals make up and that has helped a lot too. Also throw out your make up sponges, applicators every so often because they can hold bacteria.

To the best of my knowledge, puberty is a change in your chemicals as your body changes. Even after you are done with that pase, your body is permanently changed. It's likely you'll get them for at least another 30 years. Wash often, change out of sweaty or dirty clothes often if it's bad. One every few days is normal.

You can have acne all your life. There are so many reasons why we break out. Stress, foods you eat and hormonal changes. If it really bothers you or is really bad then you may want to see a dermatologist.

I think diet must play a huge part of it....sleep, and stress....
They may say not, but it is nature's way.I know a man who is 70 and had it all his life.
You may need to see a really good specialist, overseas maybe.
I don't know!! but I hear you....
