See if they try to change me, that won't work. If they try to get me to stop being gay, that won't work. I've tried many times to be something I'm not, and I'm telling everyone IT DOES NOT WORK. I'll always be this way, and I am NOT HURTING ANYONE. So, is it possible to convert to Christianity knowing that I am who I am? For those who say that homosexuality is not natural and it's wrong or it's cureable, well guess what. You are NOT gay, so you don't know what it feels like. It feels more natural to us than anything. Sorry to say that; I know it will gross some of you out, me talking about such a "disgusting" lifestyle, but I think it's important to get that point across.

Hey fireball, it is NOT learned. I was raised by straight parents and never met a gay person until I was an adult. So how the hell is that learned?

Why would you want to convert to a religion that treats you as second-class?

And all you idiots out there who say that no one is born gay, consider this: If sexual orientation is chosen, that that means that you chose to be straight. Do you remember choosing to be straight?

For a whilst I grew to be a Fundi after I whilst I wasn't definite that they had been Christians on account that they created a brand new gospel and I changed again to Catholicism after being worried with a couple of neo-pagan, occult and new age organizations. When you belong to a created faith it turns into meaningless after a whilst given that you are aware of it comprises "fact" that used to be made up via a few one else. All those organizations had been made up via a few frame. You could make your possess stuff up and comply with that. The such a lot robust fact comes from out part your self from the writer of lifestyles. When you uncover that you are set. Until then you're simply gambling video games along with your possess head.

No one is born gay. I was once gay, I lived the lifestyle for years.

But I am came in contact with something more then just religion, sad to say but most of those who would claim Christianity, live far outside the line of what TRUE Christianity is. God sent not his Son to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. If your heart is truly searching for an answer, truly seeking salvation, Jesus will met you there.

You can not be a true Christan and practice the gay lifestyle.

Alright, here goes. As a christian myself I believe love the person and hate the sin. I do believe homosexuality is a sin, but this is the first step to a better self. I believe that when you become what God has made you to become, you will find that his way is much better than your way, or my way, or anyone else's way. I don't know if people are born homosexual or not, and frankly I don't want to argue the point; merely look at it this way, I like sex, a lot, but I do not go around and have sex with many different people because it is morally wrong. You can become what you are supposed to become if you let God work in your life.

In all reality, Christians should embrace all gays. They are the meek. They are the weak. They are the persecuted. They are the sheep that Jesus would have loved to help. Gays, with their infinite number of problems because of social prejudice, mainly brought on by stupid Christians, need more help from Jesus than any straight people.

There are churches who embrace this philosophy. Find it and join it. There is no need to join a church that will make you feel bad or unaccepted or like a freak. Religion should be uplifting and helping your soul, not draining it.

You are not disgusting. God is a loving God and wants your heart. In Gods eyes sin is sin. No sin is worse or better to Him. Once a person asks for forgiveness their slate is wiped clean. Everyone has sin that they struggle with. Wether lying, stealing, porn, or attraction to the same sex. Everyone is tempted by something and that's why we all need Jesus. I believe that you can be delivered from this. I was delivered from OCD and depression that I was on medication for years for. Once the step is made to follow Jesus, he starts to work on your heart and get to the root of things. People don't have to give things up to become christians. They accept Christ first and he does the work in our hearts.

You must understand what the difference between what Christ taught, and what conservative Christians teach. They take the teachings of Christ and put them in a bad name. We know now that people are born gay, and you are not damned because of how you were born. You can follow Christ without following Christianity at all, find spirituality with Christ.

You would be loved and welcomed in my church, the United Methodist. You still would not be able to be a minister in my church but I think that will change some day. Please come any time. No one will try to change you. MG

Start studying the bible, and trying to earnestly communicate with the almighty. "THEY" don't have anything to do with it, it's between you and god, with Jesus bridging the gap. whether or not it's right or wrong I only know what the bible says. Good luck.
