Honey - every cult claims to have its leader as that prophet. I know this from experience.

I'm not sure what your question is. Are you asking if there is a prophet of God living on the earth today, or are you looking for fellow Pentecostals? I am Mormon, or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I just looked up your profile to see what your background was. With your reference to Elijah, I believe that it has already occurred at the Kirtland temple dedication on April 3, 1836 in Ohio, when Joseph Smith and Olivery Cowdery were visited by Moses, Elias (Noah), and Elijah, who said the following:
"Behold, the time has fully come, which was spoken of by the mouth of Malachi-testifying that he (Elijah) should be sent, before the great and dreadful day of the Lord come--To turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the children to the fathers, lest the whole earth be smitten with a curse." Elijah also went on to tell Joseph Smith, "Therefore, the keys of this dispensation are committed into your hands; and by this ye may know that the great and dreadful day of the Lord is near, even at the doors." The growing interest in genealogy around the world is a sign of what Elijah meant, when the hearts of the fathers would be hopeful and expectant that their children would remember them, and the children would begin to show an interest in their fathers (ancestors), because the Resurrection following the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is not as far away as it used to be - and we will all be together again in one huge family reunion soon. If you want more information about Elijah, I would suggest reading more in the Bible, or use a good Bible commentary. I like the "Thousand Year" series by W. Cleon Skousen myself. Have a happy day.

Elijah appeared to Joseph Smith when he restored the gospel back on the earth, the church that I belong to (LDS), we not only believe in prophets but we have living prophets, and why shouldn't we, why can't we have revelation? Doesn't our Heavenly Father love us just as much as he loved the people in the olden times? You should read about Elijah, he is an amazing person and very obedient, how many people do you know would go sit by a river and let crows feed you? Oh and Cesar's wife, in a cult, the cult normally dies with it's leader, quit being so ignorant and educate yourself, and quit discriminating others for their beliefs, don't you know what the purpose for America was? Freedom to believe and worship however we wanted to.

People still have the gift of Prophecy today. To prophesy is to communicate God's massage to people. Look at 1 Corinthians 14:1 and Acts 21:9. Many people in my church have the gift of prophecy. In Matthew 17:11-13 Jesus said, "Elijah is indeed coming first to get everything ready for the Massiah. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, but was not recognised, and they chose to abuse him. And in the same way they will also make the Son of Man suffer. Then the disciples realised he was talking about John the Baptist." Elijah was taken to heaven without dying, so did Enoch and Jesus.
