I can't ask a simple question without being insulted. Look, I just want to know. And it's not a dumb question, it's an honest one!

What would or what will you do if affronted about your faith?

Every day I do my best to be nice to everyone I see and everyone I meet weather they accept my cordiality or not. I give to homeless and defend them with all of the my will when people start trashing them for being lazy. My motto behind that is to try to show others that love is what Jesus wanted. Just because someone is homeless does not mean they are worthless as they are still human beings all in all.
I have reached several people by just speaking about what I know about the Lord. People wonder why I am so happy and unafraid of the things that worry most and I can tell them it's because I have Christ in my life. This leads them to ask more questions and then in turn start reading and learning more about Jesus. Call me a 'Jesus Freak' or a 'Bible Beater' whatever you choose, I am those things and I love that I am because Jesus has given me the opportunity to be a better person through doing so. I haven't had the opportunity to really spread the word, but I would love to go on a missionary mission to another country. In addition I try utilize Yahoo! Answers as way to reach those curious about God and new believers. I haven't done nearly enough to spread the word about my faith. But I'm still young so hopefully I will have enough time in the world to try to reach out to others in need of God.

It's not necessarily spreading the word of my faith but spreading the word of Jesus. I think most believers would agree.

I would like to publish a book on how creation and creatures reveal the Creator, the Holy Trinity. The existence of the Holy Trinity becomes self-evident when a person knows how we are created in the image of the Holy Trinity by knowing the essence and existence of a person.

I have made my own brochures to spread or defend the faith. One of them demonstrates the truth that Jesus is present in consecrated bread and wine.

I have explained why homosexuals are not "born that way". God gave us free will and by saying they're "born that way" they're saying they have no choice in how they act, no free will. They have deceived Christians, and others, to further their agenda.

I also have put out information on how macro-Evolution is not true. I will share the faith with anyone with an open mind.

Wow what a tough, but appropriate question! I have found that being a Christian is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do. The best answer I can give you is: The best way to spread The faith is to live by example. So many people try to justify their wrong doings... I don't do that. I try to pin-point where I am wrong and correct it according to Jesus' teachings. It's TOUGH to do, though. People seem to think it's all about them and it's not. I know that I want to go to Heaven and I do try to do what is right in order to get there.

I try to identify myself as a Christian whenever the opportunity arises, eg., at my ToastMasters' group or on-line (blogs, websites, etc.). I've done mission outreach sorts of things, Bible Studies, and led out in a Women's Ministries team who reached out to women who were in abusive relationships. I have also NOT identified myself as a Christian, and felt bad about that, and I've let a lot of opportunities to defend my faith slip by... like a couple of awful anti-Jesus jokes that my superiors told at my workplace in the past (instead of standing up for my Lord and Savior I just went and commiserated with another Christian co-worker after the meeting.... really cowardly and we were both sorry for being that way!) It is a process. I look forward to reading about how others have witnessed on this site... good question you asked!

my parents are missionaries, so I've been raised to defend and spread my faith. I think the most important part of it, is to make sure that my own life is acceptable and shining brightest so that I don't even have to tell anyone anything. Examples work better than words and I want to be the best example.

I'm not, but I have several highly christian friends; the best thing they've done to "spread or defend" was not trying to force or convince others to follow their choice. If you're a good person and don't try to convince other people, they're more likely to remain open minded, whereas when people hear suggestions they tend to close their minds.

I never felt the need to defend it. But living my faith does more to spread it than waving the bible. People notice and often ask why I am the way I am and then I share my faith.

I wish I could say I've done more. I don't even attend services on a regular basis. I work three jobs to support my wife and 5 children. I work as a nurse, and talk with my patients about religion quite often. I work in a catholic nursing home that does have a chapel, and nuns that bless us daily.

Being a Catholic I have had to defend my faith a lot especially on this site but I just pray to God and continue believing in Him and try to ignore people who put the Church down. But when I can't I explain to them my beliefs and that we believe in the same God.

God Bless You

Answering peoples questions when they have them to the best of my ability. I've been on more than ten 'missions' trips to places like Mexico, Africa and New Orleans. Talking to my friends, if not directly about Christ then just being there for them. They can see who I am and what I stand for by my actions and normally they ask why I am "different."
