When you see trash questions like "Why does jesus love hitler and want to burn cute little puppies?" or something equally ludicrous, they are clearly trying to incite a backlash for their own purile amusement.
The only answer they want to see is your outrage. Answering with "You're going to burn in hell" or "Read the Bible" is just what they want to see.
Just don't bother. Report them. Move on.
Am I alone in thinking this way?

Because we want to believe that these people are dumber than us and that we are smart enough to educate them and get them to agree with us. But even that's a sham because we really know we'll never get them to agree with us. But we just like the ego-trip of thinking that we're better than somebody else.
BTW: As a troll, getting a "Read the Bible" response is one of the absolute worst. That's total arrogance. It's to assume that no one could say these things if they had actually read it. But the truth is that many atheists are far more familiar with the bible than most Christians. We have to be. And I've never gotten a "burn in hell" response yet, but I keep trying. Maybe you can flip through my questions and give me one.

Now about feeding the trolls. Do you mean the cute little things with the wild hair? I would like to sponsor one, if you know about an organization that helps feed them and educate them for less than a Starbucks a day, I will sign up.

I think people let they're anger get the best of them. We know these are dumb questions, but the fact that some one had the ordasity to post them makes us mad, and before we can get a hold of ourselves we're typing haha. But yeah, I feel that way. I've seen crazy people talk about how everyone but them are going to hell. Instead of listening to their craziness, I just keep walking. I agree with you.

Why do you want to report them. Yahoo will only take off their question well after they have used it to get what they want. They get a kick out of being reported. I wouldn't give anyone the satisfaction of reporting them. So you report someone it's no big deal. But whatever. Good luck. xx

I am a Christian, but I disagree with you a little bit. Actually I think these off the wall nut cases make me think and also make for an interesting not to mention fun experience on Yahoo! Answers.
Never waste your time reporting. You life is too important for that.

Though I don't consider myself to be a troll, I do interject when the questions get insulting and inflammatory. It's kind of my way of breaking up a fight.
