I am certainly no nutritionist but I dont think losing a few pounds in 2 days sounds safe. Before dieting you need to set goals and before beginning ask yourself if your goals are realistic.

Heh, I would think the most effective way is to do a detox ...

I lost 15kg in 2 months using a detox. You can see my before and after pics here:
http://dreamsincredibles.blogspot.com/2005/10/angel-lost-15kg-within-2-months.html

Now, I specialize in helping people lose weight easily and quickly using the detox program i used.

If you do a detox, you will be able to:
- gain better health and
- better vitality and
- even more radiant skin and
- the loss of some excess pounds as well,

All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods consumable even by babies and pregnant women that will enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out.

If you exercise by either running or swimming, it will furthur enhance the results.

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. There is no starvation mode. I fasted for 3 days and lost 10 lbs. Once your body detox and you instill proper nutrition after fasting the results are permanent. They were for me. If you can't do a straight water only fast try a juice fast.

I dont think fasting is the healthy way. I have even heard you gain weight that might be a myth i dont know. Just try eating things in smaller portions and exercise.

I have heard body wraps are the way to go to lose weight for a particular event or something...they do them in series and you will lose weight as well as inches. Not a good idea for long term but for short term I have heard it is pretty effective.
