They may or may not be actually masturbating but they are having a sexual conversation over the phone. Some of the things people talk about is what they would do with the person they are talking with if they were actually there. Using very descriptive details. Generally trying to turn the other person on with word and sounds.
It's good because it's stimulating talking about sex. The biggest erogenous zone is the brain.
