I beileve in God and submit to him, but i do not beleive that jesus is God. I do believe jesus is the SON of God, but just that, nothing more.
I beleive that jesus died on the cross, and God rose him from the dead three days later, ect. ect. but as jesus said he was the son of God i beleive that he is the "son" of God and not god,
Does it say anywhere in the Bible (OT OR Tanakh bible only please) that Gods son was going to be God himself? Or that when Gods son reveals himself that we should Worship him?
Oh and the Tanakh is the Hebrew Bible.
which is different from the old testament.
the old testament is only a portion of the Tanakh.

HOW can you be a CHRISTian and not believe in CHRIST? No you're not saved; born again; or a Christian, however you want to term it.
EDIT: No I read your whole question. Here's proof to back me up. What do YOU have?
HE said "I and my Father are ONE". John 10:30
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. John 14:9-11
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Let me see if I got this correct. You limit our answers to the Holy Scripture or Old Testament, but you talk about things, namely Jesus, that is in the New Testament.
There is only one son of God documented in the Old Testament, and that is Adam.
We know that God gave his name to Moses, YHWH. That he existed before he created everything that we can observe. He made a covenant with Israel and in that covenant is a set of requirements for the Jewish Messiah. Did I miss anything?
If you want to discuss the Trinity, you are stuck with the New Testament. Just to remind you, Jesus was a Jew, a Rabbi, and his ministry was to the Jews. If you read the accounts (four Gospels and Acts), you will see Jesus teaching Rabbinical Judaism. The next two quotations, Luke 24:25 and Luke 24:44 shows what parts of the Tanakh Jesus is using. The codification of the Tanakh lasted from 200 BCE and 200 CE.
Luke 24: 25 Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. 26 Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?” 27 Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:44 44He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."
The Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) with the Appocryphal/Deuterocanonical books has 39 books. Do you have more? The Tanakh Translation has Torah 5, Nevi'im 21, and Kethuvim 13 books which also totals 39. What portion of the Tanakt is missing from the Old Testament?
A Christian is a follower of Christ. He/She believes that the [Christian] bible is the word of God as spoken through the prophets. If you want to understand a Christian teaching, you can not restricted the discussion to the Tanakh (Holy Scriptures or Old Testament). The New Testament is about a second covenant.
Answer: Are you a Christian? God, not me, will judge.

The word says that those who reject the Son, rejects Him Who sent the the Son. Jesus is the only way the truth and the life.
If you need to get to location A and there is only one rout to get there for sure. If you don't take that rout, you may end up somewhere else. It may look and feel the same, but it won't be point A....
We are created in the likeness of God. God has a soul (God the Father), a Spirit (the Holy Spirit) and a body (Jesus). So really speaking, Jesus if one way in which God shows Himself. God became man right? He can be at so many places at the same time. Jesus here on earth and Father in heaven. did that help?

Well I kind of agree with you - I know Jesus was the Son of God, and the entire doctrine of the Trinity just seems like extra concepts that try to tie things together. I know Jesus was far above any human, or any angel or prophet, and I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but I don't dwell much on if the three are one being.
There is definitely scripture that says the Messiah will be set apart by God, Immanuel - God with us, but again Jesus came speaking of "the Father" which wasn't really a Biblical concept until then I believe. Maybe he was just relating that the Father in heaven was immortal while on earth Jesus was mortal, and he just remembered the security of heaven for support? I don't know, thats why I don't think it is a necessary doctrine.
But if you start thinking there is another way to heaven besides Jesus, or that Jesus is just a moral teacher or a prophet, then you are walking in dangerous territory. But simply affirming that Jesus was the Son of God, I believe, is sufficient.

Jesus according to Isaiah was to be called The Mighty God and we know that there is only one God. This child was to be also called the Everlasting Father. If you truly know God and His word you will agree that there is only one person that is the Father for the same Bible says call no man your father save God and it is only God who is everlasting. All this just goes to show that this Jesus and God were one and the same thing or else there are two gods, two fathers. I dont know if anything can be plainer than this
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus the Son of God is God. Hebrew 1:8 But to the Son (Jesus) He (God) says: Your throne, O GOD, is forever and ever (quoted from Psalm 45:6); In Matt 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the NAME (singular) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Here is one scripture where the names of the Holy Trinity appears Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 10:30 I and My Father are one (ie of the same status). Are you now convinced Jesus is God Almighty!

John 10:30 -- "I and the Father are one."
Philippians 2:9-11 -- "For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glore of God the Father."

It's the concept of Holy Trinity. God, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are supposed to be one and the same. I don't know why. There's a lot of stuff in Christianity based on just faith and no logic. That's the only way they can keep this thing going.

Define Son of God, biological ? of course no.
remember when Jesus told the jew you are all sons of god because they were believers. If you believe, your a son of god.
Num23:19 "God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?"
Salvation > Repent:
The beilef is that Jesus died to forgive our sins?
So you make a sin, because I love u very much I will send my most beloved son and sacrifice him for your sins. wow!
if he really died for our sins, why did he cried on the cross and said " My god, my god, why have you forsaken me?" ??
Ez 18:20 " The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him. "
Deu 24:16 "Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin. "
best wishes,
Ask in you church :
Where did Jesus say "Worship me"?
Where did Jesus say "I will die for you sins"?
Where is the word "Chirstianity" in the bible?
Where is the word "trinity" in the bible?
Why is the Catholic book has 7 more books than the regular King james bible (check the number of books)?
.
.
Good luck.. May God lead us to the truth wherever it be with.

christianity is defined by belief that christ is the son of god who is in turn God. he is one personage in the trinity another necessary christian belief. If jesus was truly the son of god he could not be anything other than god. due to the nature of god jesus could not be merely the son of god and if jesus is not god than christianity is wrong entirely. not believing in Jesus as defined by the apostles creed excludes you from christendom
