Hey there, might i suggest not buying these subs at all. Although they are kicker they are lower end speakers. Getting one sub with dual voice coils will be a better buy than the ones you are looking at. Maybe a kicker solobaric, or a comp vr. More speakers only increase volume of the bass and not the depth. If you wanna have a nice sounding system you need to go deep. Believe me, there is a young kid in town with four Rockford fosgate 12inch sub and two 1200 watt amps and my one 15 inch solobaric blows him away with only a 1250 kicker amp.
Yeah, I would go with the 12 inch cvr and one of the cool things about it is you can hook up two amps to one speaker(per coil). which is good in someways but bad in others. As for the amp just make sure the rms power of the amp is close to the rms power of the sub, I couldn,t afford a kicker brand amp at first, but a sony xplod amp ran it pretty well until i could.

I would go with this one
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Specifications-of-Kicker-Mono-Subwoofer-Amplifier-06ZX3001/sem/rpsm/oid/146771/rpem/ccd/productDetailSpecification.do#tabs
Just connect the postives together, and the negative together and you will have a 2 ohm load if you look at that amp i puts out exactly the rms of the subs at 2 ohms.
ALSO you can get a better price at crutchfield and you still have the maufacters warnnty . RIGHT NOW THERE BUY ONE GET ONE FREE

steven c has a good choice of amp and used crutchfield to find a better deal for you. on crutchfield (which i use a lot) you can also find better woofers. you can get 2 kappa perfects for the price of 1. i used that deal those subs are worth more than what you pay.
but, instead of that kicker amp stephen showed you, get the MTX. the MTX line is a better amp. MTX has some of the best amps out there. heres an MTX at the same price as the kicker. also, MTX amps push more than what is stated. and yes, your subs can handle more than it is stated as well.

thats a good choice of subs. are you a first timer? i had the rockford fosgate P1's in my car the first time i had woofers. they are great. they are the same stats as the kicker comps you are getting there.
after that i got a jl w6. not what i expected. then i upgraded (yeah, upgraded) to 2 infinity kappa perfect 10.1's. they blew the jl out of the water. my friend had 2 jl w7's. we tested them out to my subs. his did win. but my subs kept up with his pretty damn well.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF AIRSPACE IN YOU SUBWOOFER BOX. TRUST ME. THIS IS THE KEY TO A QUALITY SYSTEM..

Either a mono 300 watt RMS @ 2 ohms wired like so: http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL.jpg
-or-
get a 150 watt RMS X 2 @ 4 ohm and wire each sub to each channel.

I would go with a Pioneer 800w mono channel Amplifier GM7200M.
But on the subs I would see if they had a 2coil subb in the same price range.

Well it depends on if your going to have one or two if your going to put two of them in a box then your going to want an amp that atleast has 200 RMS but if you want to put them to the max then you want one that has 300 RMS.
