They can open credit card accounts, buy a car, get info on credit card accounts that are already open in the person's name, get a loan, etc.

There is tons of stuff they can do. This is just all the stuff that was done to me when my info was stolen. Someone stole our trash and found everything they needed.

Lesson here is shread, shread, shread and don't ever give your info to anyone because it is a pain in the rear to get the problems reversed and it is very expensive!!

Basically with this info, anyone can create bank accounts, open credit cards, or even take out a loan in that persons name. It is not easy to refute claims with the credit bureau's, I've done it twice, and they aren't the most "trusting" people in the world.

Ruin your credit, buy a car, get loans, get new credit cards in your name at a different address. It can be a disaster. If you have not checked your credit report recently, do so immediately.

This is supposed to be free. Double-check and make sure, if you use this site that you definitely get a FREE credit report.

Absolutely anything!!!! Get new credit cards, take out loans, anything you can think of that involves credit. If you call the credit bureaus you can put flags on your account.

open a bunch of credit account that you can be responsible.
get id in your name and commit crimes that you Will have to prove you didn't do.
here are two scenarios. someone creative could come up with more, but i think these are inconvenient enough to get your attention.
